At Greyfriars Church we have been running Alpha courses for a number of years. They are courses in the basics of Christianity aimed primarily at the non-churchgoer. Each meeting comprises a meal together, a talk on some topic and plenty of time for full and frank discussion. Several people from our congregation give the talks, and here are the most recent versions of those that I generally end up doing.
The talks are based on the Alpha Course material, and the original Alpha talks by Nicky Gumbel, but with time they have evolved to be more personal, with my own illustrations and emphases. Feel free to make use of them as you wish whilst respecting the copyright notices attached.
